From January 14-15, 2024, Administrator Samantha Power will lead the U.S. government delegation to Guatemala to attend the inauguration of President-Elect Bernardo Arévalo and Vice President-Elect Karin Herrera. The delegation will underscore the United States’ support for the Arévalo administration, continued commitment to the Guatemalan people, and the strength of the bilateral relationship.
